LATEST: The Preds have placed a surprising player on waivers
We have action on the NHL waivers again today.
The Nashville Preds have just placed forward Samuel Fagemo on waivers.
This is a surprise, especially considering he is seen as a promising young player and had just arrived in Nashville.
Fagemo, 23, was a second-round pick by the Kings in the 2019 draft.
This season, he has scored one goal in four games with the Preds
Last season, he scored 23 goals in 56 games and had impressed the hockey world a few years ago with his breathtaking performance at the Junior World Championship. (8 goals and 13 points in 7 games)
We will know tomorrow if he is claimed or not.
Details to follow.
