The matter has been the talk of the town for quite some time, but it appears we will see a resolution soon.
Pierre-Luc Dubois has officially informed the Winnipeg Jets that he will not be signing a contract with them, not even a one-season contract.
His days there are numbered.
This is significant and it's now only a matter of time before he's traded, as the Jets know very well they'll lose him "for nothing" in a year.
This obviously decreases Dubois' value on the trade market, and it's Kent Hughes and the Montreal Canadiens who could benefit.
"We understand that Pat Brisson (Dubois' agent) has informed the Winnipeg Jets that his client will not be signing a contract extension this summer, not even for a year. Pat Brisson would like to work with the Jets on a trade to send Dubois to another team."
