After one of the most interesting Stanley Cup finals in the history of the National Hockey League, we finally have a winner.

As tonight's much-anticipated game 7 took place between the Florida Panthers and the Edmonton Oilers live from Sunrise, the season is now over.

The Florida Panthers are the Stanley Cup champions

We witnessed an absolutely extraordinary show for this 2024 final, especially thanks to the Edmonton Oilers and Connor McDavid, who accomplished an incredible feat by coming back from behind to force tonight's game 7.

We will remember this 2024 Stanley Cup final for a long time.

Let's also acknowledge the exploits of Connor McDavid, who broke Wayne Gretzky's all-time record for the most assists in a single playoff run. Wow.

Now, let's turn to the 2024 National Hockey League draft, as Kent Hughes and the Montreal Canadiens hold the 5th overall pick.

It will be a very important week in the NHL, as teams make crucial decisions if they too want to lift the Stanley Cup in the coming years.
