Tragedy: Young Hometown Forward Passes Away at Just 20 Years Old

The Assurancia Venne et fille de Joliette, a team in the National Ball Hockey League (NBHL), has just announced the passing of forward Christophe Babin.
We are absolutely speechless.

Forward Christophe Babin has passed away at the age of 20
It just makes no sense at all.. I have no words.
I simply want to extend my deepest condolences to Christophe's family, loved ones, and teammates.
Babin, who was only 20 years old, was also a talented ice hockey player.
His full profile is available right here, but notably, he played for the Joliette Prédateurs (QJHL) for two seasons.
Over those two campaigns, Christophe recorded 34 points in 40 games, and 30 points in 44 games - two strong and productive seasons.
He had just begun his career in the NBHL, having played one game this season for Joliette (against the Granby Preds, on July 18).
It's unbelievable.. Just last week, he was playing in his first-ever NBHL game, and today, we're hearing this devastating news.
Some stories just turn your world upside down - and this is clearly one of them.
Rest in peace, Christophe.
