"I feel like Bettman is losing control of the National League. Never before have we announced major trades like we did this year. I'm talking about the big trade that happened before Game 7 between the Ottawa Senators and the Boston Bruins.
We would never have moved teams like the Coyotes to Utah either. Before, it was always the Stanley Cup that concerned us, and there were no big trades.
Bettman should have put his foot down, because everyone knew that
Connor McDavid was going to win the Conn Smythe Trophy, so he should have made sure he went to get that trophy. If he didn't do his job, the National League looks very bad in this."
