The commissioner of the National Hockey League, Gary Bettman, just made a historic announcement.
Once again, his plan in the United States seems to be working, and he has just announced historic figures.

Gary Bettman reveals that the NHL set an attendance record in its arenas this season.
Nearly 23 million tickets sold and 97% capacity reached for the games.

Wow!
Good for the popularity of our national sport, and good for the prosperity of the National Hockey League, but this does nothing to prove to Bettman that he needs Canada and another team in Quebec.
Many fans point out that this kind of news will not really help the cause of the return of the Quebec Nordiques.
