Goaltender Dustin Tokarski, well known to Montreal Canadiens fans, has just signed a professional tryout contract.
Tokarski, now 35 years old, is a 6-foot, 198-pound goalie who played within the Montreal Canadiens organization from 2012 to 2016.
He has played 80 career games in the NHL, with a record of 23-34-12, a goals-against average of 3.15, and a save percentage of 0.902.
He had an impressive career in the American Hockey League, but he was never able to truly establish himself in the NHL. In 2022-23, he appeared in four games for the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Tokarski is also well-known to Canadiens fans for his presence in net during the infamous 2014 NHL playoffs, when he replaced an injured
Carey Price.

This same Tokarski will have another opportunity to prove himself in the NHL and earn a standard contract.
We wish him the best of luck with this new opportunity.
