We have important news to report regarding a former member of the Montreal Canadiens.
It's quite surprising, especially since he played excellent hockey in his last season with the St. Louis Blues, but we truly wish him the very best moving forward.
Scandella played with the Montreal Canadiens during the 2019-2020 season, where he was notably a teammate of
Nick Suzuki at the time.
Career Over for Marco Scandella

"A steady presence on and off the ice, who always repped the 'Note with pride.
Congrats on a great career and enjoy retirement Scandy"
- St. Louis Blues
I know it's cliché to say good things about a player who retires, but having been around him a little, I can guarantee that Marco Scandella is an absolutely incredible person.
Humble, caring, friendly.. he is a golden human being and an exemplary athlete!
Scandella, now 35 years old, was a left-shot defenseman standing 6-foot-3 and weighing 212 pounds.
A native of Montreal, Quebec, he was a 2nd-round pick of the Minnesota Wild in 2008 (55th overall).
Over his NHL career, he collected 170 points in 784 games, including 51 goals, along with 294 penalty minutes.
He also played 56 Stanley Cup Playoff games with the St. Louis Blues and Minnesota Wild.
