Treliving Risks Repeating Huberdeau Error by giving Nylander the biggest deal in Leafs history
A few minutes ago, two of the top insiders in hockey shared massive news.
Following the speculation regarding the Nylander contract, it is now nearing the end line and we might even have the final offer.
Here's what Darren Dreger reported in the last few minutes:
"See how the rest of the morning evolves, but as speculated the Maple Leafs are closing in on what is believed to be an 8 year, $92 million extension for William Nylander. Still a bit of work getting done." Then, Chris Johnston also shared important news:
"This will be the largest contract in #leafs history by total value. Expect it to include a full no-movement clause and favourable bonus structuring."
Friedman also confirmed:
Hopefully for the Leafs, this won't be another mistake by Treliving, the same GM who gave Huberdeau a humongous contract.
