A young football player from Alabama, named Caden Tellier, has sadly passed away due to a severe injury sustained during Friday night's game.
A head injury.
As the high school teams of Southern Academy and Morgan Academy faced off, 16-year-old quarterback Caden Tellier was hit hard.
This contact caused a brain injury, and the young player was urgently airlifted to the hospital, but it was already too late.
Caden Tellier's family announces the worst, and tributes pour in from everywhere
It was indeed via social media that Caden Tellier's family shared the heartbreaking news.
It came directly from his parents.
"Our son, Caden Tellier, has met Jesus face to face. We appreciate all your prayers and desire them for the difficult days ahead. Everyone who knew Caden knew kindness, generosity, and love, and true to his nature, lives have been touched by how he lived, and now lives will be saved by his passing."
