Montreal Canadiens forward Rafaël Harvey-Pinard has just received some bad news.
The excellent Mathieu Paradis has revealed an exclusive sad news, announcing that RHP has unfortunately been injured.
«Exclusive:
Rafael Harvey-Pinard is reportedly injured in a sporting event involving former and current Rocket players. It is said to be a lower-body injury.»
- Mathieu Paradis It's really unfortunate, but let's sincerely hope it's not too serious.
A worst-timed injury for Rafaël Harvey-Pinard
While more and more analysts believe that Harvey-Pinard could be a mere 13th forward for the Canadiens, with his future as a regular NHL player in jeopardy, a serious injury would be truly terrible for him.
Rafael Harvey-Pinard certainly wanted to use the 2024 training camp to prove a point and secure a regular spot in Martin St-Louis' lineup, but an injury could unfortunately derail everything.
With young forwards pushing (and the prospects), time is running out for RHP if he doesn't want to be permanently overtaken in the hierarchy.
In short, let's really hope it's not too serious.
In his text, which you can find below, Paradis adds this:
«At the time of writing, the organization has neither confirmed nor denied the information. We could learn more in the coming days. The concern is that RHP could be sidelined for several weeks.»

This will certainly negatively affect his summer preparation, and if he has to miss (entirely or partially) the 2024 training camp, you can imagine the consequences for RHP.
He is an excellent hockey player, but injuries have continually slowed him down over the past year. It's really unfortunate.
