Last minute announcement from the Winnipeg Jets regarding Pierre-Luc Dubois
We didn't report it, but a few hours before the NHL trade deadline, the Winnipeg Jets scratched Pierre-Luc Dubois from their lineup at the last minute (before a game).
The hockey world quickly ignited with rumors flying around regarding a possible trade involving Dubois.
The Jets later announced that Dubois had simply been injured.
Good news: the Jets announce his return
Dubois has been out of the game since then, but in the last few minutes, the Winnipeg organization confirmed the news we were waiting for. Dubois will be back in action tonight!
"Pierre-Luc Dubois will be in uniform tonight."
He will be back in the center with Nikolaj Ehlers and Blake Wheeler.
Dubois, 24, drafted 3rd overall in 2016, has a very strong 55 points (24 goals) in 60 games this season. He will be a restricted free agent this summer.
