The tough defenseman gets that fights are good for the business, but so are other aspects of the game.
Sheldon Souray gave a great example, that dissed the Maple Leafs at the same time.
"The fans obviously love a good fight, but they also love a slapshot to the top corner on the power play against the Toronto Maple Leafs on a Saturday night."
Hockey fans agree: Saturday nights games between Montreal and Toronto are always exciting, and Souray remembers. He especially remembers how much Leafs fans hated it when he scored...
Sheldon Souray played in Montreal between 1999 and 2007. He was a fun player to watch. At 6'4" and 230 lbs, he was known to deliver massive slap shots and didn't hesitate to drop the gloves. He tallied 64 goals, 120 points and 467 penalty minutes with the Habs.
