Connor Bedard lottery for the 2023 Draft : the Montreal Canadiens have just been ranked 1st overall among teams where there would be the most buzz

Apparently, we are not the only ones.

With less than five days until the Connor Bedard lottery, the popular site DailyFaceoff has published an interesting and highly entertaining ranking.

They ranked the teams where the chaos would be the most extreme, in case of a victory in the May 8th lottery.

The question asked here is really about which lottery result would generate the most significant turmoil across North America.

So here is the ranking in question:

11. Columbus Blue Jackets

10. San Jose Sharks

9. Anaheim Ducks

8. Detroit Red Wings

We're talking about four destinations that would be "ordinary" for Connor Bedard and all the marketing surrounding this phenomenon.

Moving on :

7. Chicago Blackhawks

6. Philadelphia Flyers

We're talking about big hockey markets in the United States, with rather intense media coverage. It's getting more interesting.

5. Arizona Coyotes

Imagine the rumors flying in all directions! It would probably save this market beloved by commissioner Gary Bettman, and many experts are convinced that Bettman secretly prefers this outcome.

Another possible chaos scenario. What if Bedard refused to go to Arizona?

Connor Bedard on the same line as Alex Ovechkin, possibly the greatest goal scorer of all time? That would be incredible.
