2023 Draft lottery: a statement is causing a stir regarding Connor Bedard and the Philadelphia Flyers
As it is rightly the case for most NHL teams eliminated from playoff contention, attention turns to Connor Bedard and the 2023 NHL Draft, especially for bottom-dwelling teams.
This is true for the Montreal Canadiens and the Philadelphia Flyers as well.
In this regard, and with less than a month to go until the 2023 Draft lottery, the reputable Elliotte Friedman, who has solid sources within the NHL, made a particular statement :
You can guess that those who believe the NHL lottery will be rigged are numerous with their reactions.
The Philadelphia Flyers had a very disappointing season, so much that they have a 6.5% chance of landing the young phenomenon Bedard.
If the Flyers do in fact draft Bedard, it would be a huge coup for the franchise and its fans, and after this statement, we can bet it would cause a lot of chatter.
It should be noted that according to a recent poll, 44% of fans believe that the NHL will rig the Connor Bedard lottery. That's huge!
