Montreal Canadiens legend defenseman Pk Subban showed his true Montreal DNA after calling out their arch rivals the Toronto Maple Leafs live on television! He called out the Leafs saying they would not be in the playoffs without their star forward Auston Matthews.

On TV, Subban said that without Auston Matthews insane goal scoring ability, the Leafs would not even be a playoff team!

Auston Matthews has 53 goals this season, currently on pace for 77 goals and has 6 hat-tricks this season! He has truly been incredible and has been scoring the bulk of the Leafs goals with their extremely quiet bottom six. You can argue that Subban has a point, you help to wonder where this successful Leafs team would be without number 34. He has quiet literally kept and helped the Leafs win most of their games, take out his goals and we might see a different Leafs team.
What Matthews has been doing as of late is nothing short of incredible, in fact he is making a case for the Hart Trophy, and Leafs fans better hold a statue for him if they bring home Lord Stanley.
