Samsonov, 26 years old, is a goaltender standing at 6 feet 3 inches and weighing 215 pounds. He had a record of 27-10-5 last season with the Leafs, with an average of 2.33 goals against and a save percentage of 0.920. However, things got tough for him during the playoffs.
