Controversial decision for Shane Wright: things are not going well for the youngster
After his failure in the OHL, young Shane Wright has immediately joined the farm team of the Seattle Kraken, the Coachella Valley Firebirds, for their own run in the playoffs.

It's always interesting to get news on Wright and his development.
His team is currently in the Calder Cup Conference Final, but unfortunately, Wright is disappointing.
After collecting 3 points in 4 OHL playoff games, he has only accumulated 4 points in 12 AHL playoff games. The trend seems to be continuing, as Wright's production drastically drops in the playoffs.
Wright was even left out by his coach in the last two games of the division finals.
He was a healthy scratch, a controversial decision among fans but one that seems to work.
It remains to be seen whether the player will be able to pull himself together in the upcoming games to prove that he deserves his place in the AHL, or even in the NHL next year. Because so far, he hasn't shown anything at all.
