The Pittsburgh Penguins just made a major announcement.
Indeed, they are hiring former Toronto Maple Leafs GM Kyle Dubas, but there's a twist!
He's not even coming in as the general manager!
Dubas has just been appointed as the president of hockey operations for the Penguins. Wow.
Does this open the door for Marc Bergevin to be appointed as GM? One thing is for sure, Pittsburgh still doesn't have a general manager, against all expectations.
Ironically, after all the speculation and rumors, it's probably Dubas himself who will choose the next GM of Pittsburgh.
Few people saw this one coming.
More details to follow.
