Yesterday night, New York Islanders' dominant forward Bo Horvat scored a big goal in the overtime period, giving his team the victory!
This marks the very first win for Patrick Roy as coach of the Islanders! He now has a record of 1-0!
Patrick Roy Wins His 1st Game with New York!
It's important to note the sparkling performance of star goalie Ilya Sorokin, who saved 41 of the 43 shots aimed at him. He clearly impressed his new boss.
See the images.
It's evident that Roy was very happy, and rightly so!
He tried to keep his "poker face", but eventually couldn't help but let slip a heartfelt smile.
We are very happy for him and wish him many more victories. Do you think he will bring the Islanders back to the playoffs?
