Habs games officially broadcast on Prime Video
Let's recall that the NHL recently announced a historic change in how hockey games are watched, and it involves the Montreal Canadiens.
Amazon, Rogers Communications, and the National Hockey League have signed a two-year contract, here in Canada, to broadcast games on Prime Video.
It's an exclusive contract, but only on the English side, so the games in question will still be broadcast on RDS, as we understand it.
Here is the official statement from Amazon on the subject:
«With Prime Monday Night Hockey, we are offering our customers even more possibilities with their Prime membership. We are committed to further innovation for fans by bringing the NHL into more Canadian homes and on more devices than ever before on Monday nights.»
- Magda Grace, Head of Prime Video for Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
It will be really interesting to see how all this plays out in practice.

Will you be watching the Montreal Canadiens games on Amazon Prime Video?
It's certainly a big change, but we'll have to get used to it.
