This season, we're seeing a Nick Suzuki who is a bit more expressive in press conferences and in front of the camera.
We love to see it.
The captain of the Canadiens is hesitating less and less to speak his mind, and we've just had another solid example.
In a recent press conference, the captain expressed something that seems to be frustrating him (rightfully so) regarding the attitude of certain players on the team.
See what he mentioned.
So, we understand that too many players on the team are currently spending too much time complaining about the referees' work when they're on the bench.
This is a very good point brought up by Suzuki, and hopefully, it can be resolved quickly.
Obviously, not all of the Canadiens' recent losses can necessarily be explained by this little whining on the players' bench, but it surely doesn't help the players stay focused on their game.
Suzuki, 25 years old, has 51 points in 51 games this season, including 15 goals.
His contract of $7.875 million per year, valid until 2030, is a true bargain for the organization.
Let's also remember that Captain Suzuki and the Canadiens will be back in action tomorrow, February 2, against the Ducks live from Anaheim.
It will be a good time to get back on the winning path!
