We were treated to another great moment, another beautiful scene in the locker room last night after the Montreal Canadiens' win.

There was, once again, the traditional wolf head ceremony, as none other than Cole Caufield awarded the "hat" for player of the game to Carrier.

There were smiles, pats on the back, and that small burst of happy chaos you immediately recognize.

When the wolf head comes out, everyone knows something fun is about to happen for the fans.

Cole Caufield took the floor and then handed the wolf head to Alexandre Carrier.

Carrier earned that respect because his teammates felt his presence in the game.

And in a locker room, the "player of the game" is often something the guys cherish far more than individual honors.

When your work is recognized by your own teammates, it means a lot.

Caufield, for his part, genuinely seemed happy to do it.

You can see it in his eyes when he's proud of a teammate.

Moments like this bring players together and remind us why fans buy in so much.

A win is good.

A win with a scene like that is even better.

Speaking of Tuesday night's game, let's remember how St-Louis yelled at the referee following the controversial penalty called on Lane Hutson.
