The health status of Cole Caufield has sparked a lot of mystery, concern, and questions over the last few days.
Let's remember that he missed three consecutive practices (and four days in a row), let's remember that Martin St-Louis could not confirm that he is not injured, but number 22 did not miss a game.
In short, last night on TVA Sports, journalist Renaud Lavoie revealed new information.
Renaud Lavoie sheds light on the rumors involving Cole Caufield
Basically, it's important to note that Caufield was "really lucky in his misfortune, last Thursday, against the New York Rangers" according to Renaud.
Cole was indeed slightly injured during contact with the defenseman
Adam Fox, of the Rangers, and it slightly worsened against the Washington Capitals, but Caufield would have avoided the worst. (apparently)
This confirms that Caufield was bothered by a little something and that he might have to miss more practices, but we can hope to see him finish the season without too much trouble.
