We have an update regarding the injury sustained by 23-year-old defenseman Kaiden Guhle last night.

Let's recall that the excellent defenseman did not finish last night's game, even though he remained on the team's bench...

"Kaiden Guhle is on the Habs bench by the way."

We finally have an update concerning Guhle's health status, thanks to TVA Sports journalist Renaud Lavoie.

Here's the good news of the day!
"What I've been told is that after the game he was feeling fine and there was no concern from the Canadiens' side."

- Renaud Lavoie

That's what Renaud mentioned this morning on BPM Sports.
That said, we unfortunately won't have a final verdict for a little while as the Canadiens decided to take the day off.
But let's stay positive!
If Guhle is unable to face the New York Rangers tomorrow night, expect young Arber Xhekaj (who was scratched last night) to rejoin the lineup.
Guhle, 23 years old, is a 6-foot-3, 202-pound left-handed defenseman who was the Montreal Canadiens' 16th overall pick in the 2020 NHL Draft (first round). He has recorded 2 points in 5 games this season, with a positive plus-minus rating of +1.
He is obviously a very important player for Martin St-Louis' squad's success.

Would you trade Kaiden Guhle for a solid second-line center like Mason McTavish?
