Montreal Canadiens Officially Cut Eight Players from Camp, Including a Surprise Name
We already have our first wave of cuts to announce from the Montreal Canadiens.
On this Sunday evening, the Canadiens organization has just announced the first eight cuts of the 2025 training camp.
There's even a surprise among the players who were sent home.
The Montreal Canadiens Announce Eight Cuts, Including Goalie Arseny Radkov
Everything suggested Radkov would at least stay until the main camp, just like young
Bryce Pickford - but no.
They were immediately cut, and we're already looking forward to seeing them again next year.
"The Canadiens have assigned Handel, Lavigne, MacNiel, McGowan, Pickford, Radkov, Vecvanags and Wang to their respective teams."

As TVA Sports journalist Renaud Lavoie mentioned, these are indeed the first cuts of the Canadiens' camp.
We wish them all a fantastic 2025-26 season wherever they play!
