Upon returning from the Western road trip, the Montreal Canadiens held their first practice today in Brossard.

For the occasion, head coach Martin St-Louis revealed his lines and pairings to start the month of December.
Here are the lines:
"Cole Caufield - Nick Suzuki - Zachary Bolduc

Juraj Slafkovsky - Oliver Kapanen - Ivan Demidov

Alexandre Texier - Jake Evans - Josh Anderson

Florian Xhekaj - Joe Veleno - Brendan Gallagher"

Jared Davidson is once again the extra forward, and don't be surprised if he's sent back to Laval soon.

Zachary Bolduc back again with Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield

This means that after finishing the game against the Colorado Avalanche with Juraj Slafkovsky, Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield are back with Zachary Bolduc today.
As for the defensive rotations, recall that after missing the game against the Colorado Avalanche due to injury, Struble also missed today's practice due to an upper body injury.
We will therefore monitor this for you, but note that everything indicates we'll see a good dose of Adam Engstrom, Arber Xhekaj, Florian Xhekaj, and Alexandre Texier in the upcoming games.
Also note that Martin St-Louis clearly isn't afraid to alternate Zachary Bolduc and Juraj Slafkovsky on the top line, depending on the situation and depending on in-game results.
More details to come.
