Martin St-Louis announces a change of plans ahead of crucial 4-point game vs the Buffalo Sabres

The day after the matchup against the Colorado Avalanche, Martin St-Louis opted to cancel the practice session that had been scheduled.

Journalist Stu Cowan confirmed the news, noting that the decision was expected.

Friday will therefore officially be considered a travel day for the organization. The players and coaching staff are set to head to New York State ahead of their next matchup.

This off-ice break will allow the players to recover some energy before getting back into action.

The Canadiens will take on the Buffalo Sabres Saturday night, in another game that will be extremely important for the Eastern Conference standings.
