Lane Hutson Awkwardly Falls Into the Boards During Practice, Giving Fans a Scare
During an intense practice in Brossard, Montreal Canadiens defenseman Lane Hutson gave his teammates and coaches a brief scare after taking an awkward fall.
In the past few minutes, live from Brossard, we witnessed a bit of a scare involving the young Hutson.
He took an awkward fall, and it could have gone badly...
But instead of staying down, Lane Hutson immediately got back up and went full speed into a second attempt at the same drill.
It may seem minor, but very few players would have reacted like that!
A Scare Involving Lane Hutson in the Corner Boards
After quickly getting up, Hutson looked a bit shaken and tried to shake off the pain, but I honestly don't think there's any reason for concern.
I fully expect to see Lane Hutson in the lineup tomorrow night against the Ottawa Senators, and I expect him to make a positive impact for Martin St-Louis's squad.
So, it was definitely an intense practice today in Brossard!
Lane Hutson, 21, is a left-handed defenseman standing 5-foot-9 and weighing 162 pounds. He was selected 62nd overall by the Montreal Canadiens in 2022.
This season, he's off to a strong start with 10 points in 11 games (one goal and nine assists) and a +3 rating.
Last season, in his rookie year, he recorded 66 points in 82 games.
Lane Hutson is truly one of a kind.
