We have confirmation regarding Phillip Danault's spot in the Canadiens lineup.

According to Kent Hughes, Danault will unfortunately not be able to play the weekend games against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
However, he is expected to be inserted into the lineup by Martin St-Louis as early as Tuesday in Boston.

Phillip Danault's spot in the Canadiens lineup: he will join the team on Tuesday in Boston

We are already eager.
"Notice to those interested: Kent Hughes and the Canadiens expect Phillip Danault to play for the first time since the trade on Tuesday in Boston." - TVA Sports
"GM Kent Hughes says Philip Danault will likely join the Habs in Boston next week." - Priyanta Emrith
Kent Hughes also followed the Phillip Danault trade with an immediate second move, sending Jared Davidson to Laval.
Let us also recall that the Los Angeles Kings did not retain any portion of salary in this trade, which occurred late Friday night between the Montreal Canadiens and the Los Angeles Kings.
Danault, 32, is a 6-foot-1, 200-pound centre drafted in the first round by the Chicago Blackhawks in 2011.
He recorded 43 points in 80 games last season with the Kings, with a +20 rating, and he has 5 points in 30 games this season (with a +3 rating).
The Canadiens will now wait a few more days before officially welcoming Danault back into the lineup for his second stint in Montreal.
