Juraj Slafkovsky didn't hide his opinion about Patrik Laine.
From his very first practices in Montreal, Laine made a strong impression on his new teammates, and Slafkovsky was particularly struck by his calmness and puck control.

He noted that, despite the fact Laine hadn't skated much before arriving, his talent and impact are already evident:
"You quickly understand why he earns $8.7 million!" Slafkovsky joked.
With his impressive vision and ease on the ice, Laine is proving to be a key player for the team. His presence adds a touch of confidence to the roster, and his teammates are excited to see what he will bring throughout the season. For Slafkovsky and the others, having a player like Laine on the team is not only inspiring but also an opportunity to learn and grow alongside him.
He will be a very interesting name to watch over the next few weeks during the Montreal Canadiens' training camp.
