We witnessed a concerning scene in the past few minutes, live from Brossard, involving goaltender Jakub Dobes.
Dobes got hurt after taking a shot from forward Oliver Kapanen directly on his arm, a shot that appeared to bypass his protective gear.
It looked extremely painful.

But he still seems okay overall. Luckily."

As Marc-Olivier Cook points out, Dobes seemed relatively okay afterward, but it's hard to tell since it was at the very end of practice.
Speaking of injuries on the Canadiens, let's recall that defenseman Jayden Struble
missed today's practice with an upper body injury.
He is still listed as day-to-day.
Jakub Dobes, 24 years old, is a 6-foot-4, 215-pound goaltender who was a 5th-round pick of the Montreal Canadiens in 2020.
He has an 8-3-2 record this season, with a goals-against average of 3.22 and a save percentage of 0.888.
In his career, Dobes has a 15-7-5 record, a goals-against average of 2.96, and a save percentage of 0.899.
Let's also recall that the Canadiens confirmed Samuel Montembeault
will start tomorrow night against the division-rival Ottawa Senators
, which means Jakub Dobes is expected to start the second half of the back-to-back on Wednesday against the Winnipeg Jets.
