The Philadelphia Flyers organization announced some very sad news in the past few minutes.

The legendary goaltender from Montreal, Bernie Parent, has passed away.
The Flyers and Ed Snider Youth Hockey and Education are heartbroken to learn of the passing of Bernie Parent, a true legend, one of the most famous and beloved players, and most popular figures in the history of the organization and city of Philadelphia

As you can guess, tributes have been pouring in from all sides since the sad announcement.
"Hall of Fame goaltender Bernie Parent, a two-time Stanley Cup champion and Vezina winner, has passed away at the age of 80."
