Poulin was searching for his technical bearings when he arrived in Laval after some tougher seasons in Europe.
Marciano immediately identified the issue and adjusted his overall approach in the crease.
He taught him that economy of movement was the key to regaining consistency and success.
This "move less" philosophy allowed Poulin to enjoy an unexpected revival with the Rocket.
