Geoff Molson Confirms Unprecedented Scene With Canadiens Players in Brossard
We were treated to some very interesting press conferences from the Montreal Canadiens in the past few hours, held during their annual golf tournament.
Kent Hughes, Jeff Gorton, and Martin St-Louis answered questions from reporters, but the big boss Geoff Molson also took the podium.
He was asked about many topics, notably his expectations for the upcoming 2025-26 season, but he was also questioned about what has been happening in Brossard over the past few weeks.
He confirmed what we've been mentioning and repeating for a while now.. It's something never seen before!
Geoff Molson Confirms What Happened in Brossard Over the Past Few Weeks Is Unprecedented
It's worth noting that, for several weeks now, almost all the Canadiens players have already arrived in town and have been holding what are practically regular practices.
As Martin St-Louis mentioned, it's as if the Habs players decided that training camp started on August 15.
That could make a huge difference in getting off to a strong start this season.
The players will be extremely ready!

Jeff Gorton told me that during one of the optional practices in the middle of August in Brossard, there were 42 players on the ice!

He also added that the players are coming to Montreal early and want to stay in Montreal during the summer, not only because they love the city and want to be together, but especially because they want to win together.
It's truly special.
