After Jeff Gorton and Kent Hughes, it was head coach Martin St-Louis's turn to appear in front of the media to answer questions.

He was notably questioned about the makeup of his power-play lines and pairings, and he gave a very interesting answer.

Martin St-Louis hints that he could use two defensemen on his top power-play unit

You read that right.
When asked about it earlier today, St-Louis confirmed that it is indeed an option, notably to make room for new acquisition Noah Dobson.
Is Martin St-Louis open to the idea of playing two defensemen on his first power-play unit?

"Anything is possible," said the coach.

"We'll have some great options."
So don't be surprised if Lane Hutson AND Noah Dobson are on the top power-play unit, which could come at the expense of a Cole Caufield or a Patrik Laine eventually.
The name Mike Matheson was even mentioned - imagine that!

"Everything is possible. [...] We'll have some great options.

We manage day by day, we have to manage the minutes and the role they will play."

"We brought in a few young players [like Zachary Bolduc], not to mention Dobson who already has a solid résumé. We have to find a way to integrate these guys."

And you, what would you do if it were your decision?
Speaking of reinforcements and what was mentioned today, let's remember this:
This is nothing but positive for the fans!
