On TVA Sports, the excellent Tony Marinaro reported a very rare and highly interesting story. It's truly uncommon to hear a story like this, but Marinaro revealed that Emil Heineman is not happy.

He's upset about missing last night's game.
From that, we understand that he's no longer injured and was simply scratched, though Tony can't confirm that detail.
In short, Heineman is angry.

Emil Heineman is visibly upset over a decision by Martin St-Louis

See the clip in question:
With his "little scoop," Marinaro mentions that Heineman even insisted on walking from the hotel to the arena, a 20-minute walk, apparently to "cool off."
Honestly, I'm glad to hear this.
I'd much rather hear that a player is extremely upset about being scratched than to hear that a player is indifferent about being sent to the press box.
It shows that young Heineman is a true competitor, just as Tony also mentions.
Again, Tony can't confirm it was just a healthy scratch, but let's be honest, he wouldn't be this upset otherwise.
So, we can expect a hungry Heineman when he eventually returns to the lineup, which is definitely a good thing.

A generally strong rookie season for Emil Heineman with the Montreal Canadiens

Heineman, age 23, 6 feet 2 inches, 198 pounds, is currently in his rookie season with the Canadiens. He has 18 points in 61 games this season, including 10 goals, with a -6 rating.
Overall, he's had a solid rookie campaign in Montreal.
