Montreal Canadiens players flew to Washington in the past few hours, ahead of their game against the Capitals.
The organization shared images from the trip, and we got a nice surprise..
Kirby Dach was on the plane!
It's rare to see something like this, and we're not entirely sure what it means, but it's fantastic news to see Dach traveling with the team this week, even though the Canadiens are on the road.
It's unusual, but it says a lot about Dach!

It would be interesting to see what Kirby Dach could bring to this team in a playoff context, but as you know, he is unfortunately injured at the moment (knee again).
Seeing that he traveled with the team, it really looks like he's still part of their plans.
Kirby Dach, 24 years old, signed at $3.37 million per year until 2026, finished the 2024-2025 season with 22 points in 57 games and a minus-29 rating.
After such a promising 2023 training camp, we really wonder what the future holds for him in the National Hockey League.
On the other side, the Washington Capitals will be able to count on a strong second-line center, as they acquired Quebec native
Pierre-Luc Dubois last summer (in exchange for goaltender
Darcy Kuemper).
