Several young National Hockey League prospects are already arriving, on the red carpet, at the Bell Centre and as the excellent Priyanta Emrith reports, young Juraj Slafkovsky has already been booed... Unfortunately...
You can guess that the reactions are many:
"Ayoye! As much as I hope Shane Wright or Logan Cooley is the choice, it doesn't take a smart person to boo an 18-year-old who is about to have one of the most important nights of his life. He is not responsible for the pick. Regardless of the selection, APPLAUSE!" - Marc-Olivier Beaudoin Well said!
Other than that, which is very unfortunate, the atmosphere in Montreal seems incredible right now:
A nice welcome for Kent Hughes and Jeff Gorton, a few minutes before a very important night for them.
