Wow: Emil Heineman has just been fined by Gary Bettman and the NHL
Despite his best intentions, young Emil Heineman has already violated an NHL rule in his first career game last night in Minnesota.
Like Connor Bedard before him, Heineman chose to be fined rather than wear a helmet when he took to the ice for his first warm-up with the Habs.
"Hey Bettman, Heineman says he couldn't care less about your $2,500 fine!"
Therefore, Heineman will apparently have to pay a fine of $2,500, due to a recent regulation requiring all new NHL players to wear a helmet during warm-up.
We love the boldness, in any case! It was beautiful to see:
Hair in the wind!
