Video goes viral as Cole Caufield seems to be really discouraged by Mike Hoffman

The video shows Cole Caufield, who is completely free, unmarked, ready to take the shot and with a good opportunity to tie the game.
In the end, Hoffman ignores Caufield and takes a harmless throw, which doesn't even reach the target. A decision that made fans and experts react after the game.
If we look at the game, after Hoffman missed his shot and after the final buzzer, we see the young Caufield, who seems discouraged by the decision of his teammate.
Obviously, he didn't mean any harm, but his non-verbal statement seems to speak volumes: Cole Caufield feels he had a good chance to tie the game, but unfortunately he didn't get the chance and was visibly disappointed (with good reason).

Even if we suspect that Hoffman was not really ill-intentioned, it's a bit frustrating to watch the sequence. We understand Caufield, he was completely alone.
