Victim of an armed robbery, Mitch Marner issues a statement
Toronto Maple Leafs forward Mitch Marner was the victim of an armed robbery earlier this week.
He wanted to say thank you.
To all the fans, my friends and teammates and the entire Toronto Maple Leafs organization, thank you for your positive messages over the past few days. The support I have received from the Toronto community is incredible.
I would also like to thank the Toronto Police Service for their good work in the investigation.
It was a scary time, but we are safe and well. Thank you all!
