We remember that Habs defender Jeff Petry was recently linked to the Texas team. At the beginning of February, TSN insider Pierre LeBrun mentioned that the Dallas Stars could be very interested in the Habs defender for a very specific reason, namely John Klingberg. In the event that he leaves the team, Petry would then be the dream replacement.
If the Stars and the Habs do decide to dance and Petry is involved, Kent Hughes will have no choice but to take a salary.
