With the trade deadline fast approaching, it's no surprise to see the stands filling up with NHL scouts. The teams want to be well prepared for the decisive day.

As mentioned by Adrian Dater, beat reporter for the Colorado Avalanche, the Canadiens sent scouts to the Avalanche game against the Stars on Tuesday night.

We remember that Habs defender Jeff Petry was recently linked to the Texas team.
