In the last few minutes, the Canadiens have confirmed the news we were waiting for.

Jake Allen will be in goal tonight in Montreal!
"Forward Michael Pezzetta will take Tanner Pearson's spot in the lineup. Goaltender Jake Allen gets the start. Defenseman David Savard will return to the lineup tonight, and a decision will be made after warmups regarding which defenseman will sit.»

- Montreal Canadiens

So that makes three changes in total.
Allen, Pezzetta, and Savard enter the lineup, while Tanner Pearson (injured), Cayden Primeau, and another defender will be in the stands.
Allen, 33, has a record of 3-5-2 this season, an average of 3.74 and a save percentage of 0.898.
This will be an important start for him, following the sparkling performance of the young Primeau.
Details to follow.
