In the last few minutes, the Montreal Canadiens organization has issued a rather disturbing official statement about Kirby Dach, but let's wait and see.
Here it is:
"Kirby Dach will not participate in practice today (treatment day)."
- Montreal Canadiens
Let's hope, of course, that it's just a short rest day, and not an injury.
Recall that yesterday, Florida Panthers big defenseman Radko Gudas deliberately tried to injure Dach:
"Gudas with a blatant attempt to break Kirby Dach's knee, after a hit. The officials let it happen."
- Eric Engels
Which, by the way, really frustrated Arber Xhekaj.
So let's file this under the category of something to watch, but for now, there's no reason to worry, too much.
Let's remember that Dach is playing extremely well right now and is really taking off in the NHL, which is obviously huge for the future of the CH.
