Today is finally the day we've been waiting for, the day of the 2022 National Hockey League lottery, and the day the Montreal Canadiens could secure the first overall pick in the upcoming NHL Entry Draft (they have the best chance with 25.5% overall).
This will be really intriguing to watch and is a very important day for the Montreal franchise.
Please note that as part of this 2022 lottery, we have just learned that the GM of the Montreal Canadiens Kent Hughes will be at a press conference. This is what the Tricolore organization has just officially announced.
Hughes will meet with the media, to react and to comment, after the unveiling of the result, around 7pm. Interesting!
More details to come.
"Have a great draw day! Executive Director Kent Hughes will be speaking with the media after the lottery ends at approximately 7 p.m. ET." - Priyanta Emrith
