There has been some action with the Montreal Canadiens in the last few seconds.
The organization has announced the signing of forward Sean Monahan. We love it!
See the official announcement.
"The general manager of the Montreal Canadiens Hockey Club, Kent Hughes, announced on Tuesday that the team has agreed on the terms of a one-season contract extension (2023-2024) worth $1.985 million with forward Sean Monahan."

So, we're talking about a one-season contract worth $1.985 million.
For a forward who has amassed 17 points in 25 games this season, that's excellent. If he can stay healthy, it will be quite a bargain for the Habs.
