Tonight, the Montreal Canadiens are off, but it's still a very important night for the organization.

The Laval Rocket, the CH's training club in the American Hockey League, will play the most important game in its history, no less.

With only five games left in the 2021-22 season, the Rocket is well positioned to make the playoffs.

In fact, with a regulation time win tonight against the Toronto Maple Leafs' feeder club (the Marlies), Jean-Francois Houle's team would officially have a ticket to the 2022 playoffs.

This would be huge and would be a first in the history of the organization.

With a six point lead over Toronto, a regular time win would secure the Rocket a playoff spot.

The race remains very tight in the North Division.

Remember that the Montreal Canadiens have just announced a personnel move for the occasion.

Considering the importance of tonight's game for the Rocket and considering the importance of Rafael Harvey-Pinard for Laval, the CH just gave the forward (Lavallagher) to the Laval Rocket and he will be in uniform tonight.

It's a big deal.

RHP has an impressive 51 points (19 goals) in 64 games this season in the AHL. All this with a +28 rating. He is the Rocket's leading scorer this season.

Go Rocket Go! Rocket fever is sweeping the province!
