The Montreal Canadiens just made an interesting personnel move, sending forward Rem Pitlick (again) to the American Hockey League's Laval Rocket:
"The Canadiens have sent Rem Pitlick to the Laval Rocket." - Montreal Canadiens
An official release that is a harbinger of good news, as it seems to indicate that Mike Matheson will finally be back in the game and can finally play his first game with the CH.
Great news for Martin St-Louis and his men.
Matheson, 28, had 31 points in 74 games last season with the Pittsburgh Penguins (11 goals) and was acquired in the Jeff Petry/Ryan Poehling trade. We look forward to seeing him in action.
As for Pitlick, his return to Montreal was very brief.
More details to follow!
