The Canadiens just announced a major press conference with Kent Hughes
We have a last-minute announcement from the Montreal Canadiens.
The organization just announced that General Manager Kent Hughes will hold a major press conference next Monday at 11 am.
It's definitely an appointment to watch.
This will be his mid-season media availability, and expect him to be intensely questioned about the trade market.
"The Canadiens reached mid-season on Thursday - General Manager Kent Hughes will hold his mid-season media availability on Monday, January 15, around 11 am ET."

We will obviously keep you informed of developments and his responses. He is usually quite transparent.
Will he have answers about the goalie situation? Will he actually confirm that Sean Monahan will be traded by the trade deadline, as he did with Ben Chiarot?
We are eager to see this, especially as the Canadiens unfortunately tumble in the overall NHL standings. It will force him to move and make big decisions by March.
